Record your screen — saved on your computer, never uploaded

Record a tab, a window or your whole screen, with your voice. RecFit runs in your browser: no account, no watermark, nothing uploaded.

A screen recorder that keeps your video on your computer

Most screen recorders in the browser want an account and upload every recording to their servers, then charge a monthly fee to keep more than a few. Whatever was on your screen — a client's document, your inbox, a private dashboard — ends up on someone else's computer. RecFit records with your browser's own recorder and saves the video straight to your computer. Nothing is uploaded, and there is no account to make.

Frequently asked questions

Is my recording uploaded?

No. The video is made by your browser and stays on your computer until you save it as a file or delete it. RecFit has no servers that could receive it.

Can it record sound?

Your microphone, in every browser. The sound of what you record works in Chrome and Edge: a tab's sound on any computer, and the whole computer's sound on Windows and ChromeOS when you share the entire screen. Firefox doesn't let websites or extensions record sound from the screen.

What does it cost?

RecFit is free for recordings up to 3 minutes each, with no watermark. A one-time purchase removes the time limit and adds editing, to cut out the parts you don't want. There is no subscription.

Does it work on a phone?

No. Phone browsers don't allow screen recording; use RecFit on a computer.
